Studio Policies
Kinderdance students must be 4 years old by September 2008.
Students will be placed with respect to individual potential and proficiency by the directors of the school.
Please know that students progress a different rates. Therefore, students may not always be placed with the same classmates.
Regular attendance is essential for progress in dance education. It takes twice as long to teach a child who is repeatedly absent.
All students are requested to arrive to class on time. A late arrival is extremely distracting to the teacher and to the class.
Please notify the studio by phone if a class has to be missed or if you're unexpectedly detained.

Ballet Shoes
All students are required to wear one of the following ballet shoes:
Bloch #S0205 or Split Sole
Students will not be permitted to take class in any other ballet shoes. Shoes that are from a department store, or a regular shoe store are unacceptable. Because:
They have no arch
They do not bend
The toes are extremely hard.
It is impossible for the ballet teacher to work with your child's feet in those kinds of shoes.
Should your child arrive in an incorrect ballet shoe, the teacher will point that out to you and will request that the child be provided with the proper shoe for the proper training.
We ask that you abide by this requirement.
