Anna Ivanova, principal dancer formerly with the Russian Ballet Theatre of Delaware, will dance as the Sugar Plum Fairy.

The Nutcracker is Back in North Wilmington

That's right, The Anna Marie Dance Studio's award winning and much beloved production of The Nutcracker is back at the Archmere Academy Theatre, December 15 and 16, 2007, for a special weekend run.

Under the direction of Sonny Leo and Kimberly Martin, dancers from North Wilmington will ban together again with Special Guest artists to join them in recreating the Nutcracker magic.

See the beautiful 18 foot fully decorated Christmas tree grow right before your very eyes.

The enchantment continues through the Snow into the beautiful Land of the Sweets. Here you will meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, danced by our Special Guest artist, Ms. Anna Ivanova, formerly of the Russian Ballet Theatre, and her handsome cavalier, Michael Shannon, of the Greenwich Ballet Company, Greenwich, CT.

All other roles will be danced by our own talented dancers from The Anna Marie Dance Studio.

Plan ahead for rehearsals, performances, tickets, groups, etc. We are all very excited!!!
